How 2 Style: Animal Print
Animal Print is back, and it’s nothing to shy away from. (Did it ever really leave?)
Animal print has previously been deemed as tacky, slutty, trashy and vulgar. I highly disagree. I believe animal print is very versatile and can fit into many different styles. Although it can be daunting to wear at first, animal print is something anyone can and should add to their wardrobe.

Let’s get into styling:
In order to style animal print, you have to know all the different types. Leopard, cheetah, zebra, tiger, cow, giraffe, and snakeskin along with many other types are considered animal print.
What some people don’t realize is that animal print can be worn both as a neutral and an accent. You just have to find which one works for you.
If you’re new to animal print, I recommend starting with accessories. Don’t be afraid to play with these prints in your accessories. I’ve seen animal prints in jewelry, shoes, purses, belts, hats, and whatever else you can imagine. This is a great way to add a pop of print without overwhelming your outfit.
Pairing animal prints with neutral colors can also be a great way to balance out the boldness of the print. Shades such as black, white, beige, and denim would definitely do that trick.
For a bolder look, let the animal print be the focal point of the outfit. For example, using different textures, and colors to complement and create a cohesive look.
Layering is also another fabulous tool that can aid in styling animal prints. Starting with a basic look underneath, and then adding an animal print coat, scarf, or shoe will elevate and upgrade the final look.
Lastly, I think it’s cruel to wear animal prints with confidence. Own the boldness, and wear it with great pride.
